Job Description

Bargain Moulding - Amityville, NY Bargain Moulding is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team at our Amityville location . This is a full-time position for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating the movement of materials in and out of a busy building materials operation. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for helping manage the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations , coordinating incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with drivers, vendors, branches, customers, and internal teams. Responsibilities Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities Receive incoming deliveries and verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders Inspect shipments for shortages, damages, or discrepancies Coordinate outgoing shipments and deliveries Prepare shipping paperwork and maintain accurate records Schedule and coordinate pickups and deliveries with vendors and carriers Communicate with drivers regarding delivery schedules, locations, and special instructions Track incoming and outgoing shipments Work closely with warehouse and branch management to ensure materials are received, staged, and shipped correctly Help resolve shipping, receiving, and delivery issues quickly and efficiently Maintain an organized shipping and receiving area Enter and update information in company systems Communicate with vendors regarding orders, delivery dates, shortages, and damaged materials Assist with inventory-related discrepancies and documentation Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment Perform other logistics and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Previous experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or transportation preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and tasks throughout the day Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software Ability to work effectively with warehouse personnel, drivers, vendors, and management Reliable and dependable Building materials, lumber, moulding, or distribution experience is a plus Bi-lingual What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates well, stays organized, and gets things done . Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
