Job Description

Production Schedule Planner Pay:
$24/hour - some flexibility based on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday Work Environment:
Onsite Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized Production Schedule Planner to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, monitoring orders and materials, and working across departments to help keep production running efficiently and on schedule. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in production scheduling, manufacturing, inventory, purchasing, or supply chain who enjoys staying organized and solving problems. Responsibilities Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules Review open sales and production orders and prioritize based on deadlines Monitor production progress and identify potential delays or scheduling conflicts Coordinate with production, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, and operations teams Adjust schedules based on changing priorities, material availability, and production needs Monitor inventory and identify potential material shortages Maintain accurate production information within ERP/MRP systems Track work orders and follow up on outstanding production needs Prepare Excel spreadsheets, production reports, and scheduling updates Participate in production meetings and communicate schedule changes Help identify opportunities to improve production flow and efficiency Qualifications Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing, inventory control, purchasing, supply chain, or a related area Strong organizational and follow-up skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience with an ERP/MRP or manufacturing system is preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Comfortable communicating and coordinating with multiple departments Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment # IND123
