Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a well-organized Operations Coordinator to support a fast-paced Operations Team. The ideal candidate will direct and coordinate all sales orders and inquires that are essential to the requirements of the business. This individual should have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and general knowledge of ERP/MRP. Experience with Epicor is a significant plus! This is a high visibility, onsite role that requires a "proactive" attitude while interacting with many personalities and roles within the organization. The ideal candidate will have technical savviness with the ability to be "hands-on" with all projects. The Operations Coordinator will exemplify professional characteristics such as being assertive, analytical, detail orientated and dependable. They must also have the proven ability to multitask in a high paced environment while maintaining the integrity of their work. It is essential that this individual demonstrates a positive work ethic as well as being resilient and adaptable.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Create PO suggestions and raise jobs based on demand, usage and forecast Schedule customer orders based on specific requirements, customer delivery dates and lead times Print daily shop orders every 1/2 hour Sort shop orders accordingly and bring to shop floor Liaise with production daily in regard to customer orders Expedite orders with secondary suppliers Respond to sales inquiries via email, ie: date changes, production changes, cancellations etc. Review inbound custom orders from secondary suppliers (check quantity, color and artwork against PO and shop order Handle stock requests Form partnerships with suppliers to maintain pricing and delivery schedules, establish new suppliers when necessary Able to operate independently while keeping Management up to date on daily and weekly issues, reports, goals and needs Report shortfalls for customer orders and mitigation plans to ensure monthly revenue
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS ERP
