Islandia, NY We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Billing Specialist to support billing, invoicing, and administrative operations for our WCD Warehouse. This position plays an important role in ensuring that shipments, warehouse services, transportation charges, and customer invoices are processed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large amounts of data, has strong attention to detail, and can communicate effectively with warehouse teams, carriers, customers, and internal departments. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and process customer invoices for warehouse and logistics services. Verify billing information against warehouse records, shipping documents, purchase orders, and transportation documentation. Review freight, accessorial, storage, handling, and other logistics-related charges for accuracy. Research and resolve billing discrepancies, invoice errors, and missing documentation. Enter and maintain billing and shipment information in company systems. Coordinate with warehouse personnel to verify inventory movements, shipments, receipts, and services performed. Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal departments regarding billing questions and discrepancies. Track outstanding invoices and assist with accounts receivable follow-up as needed. Maintain accurate and organized billing records and supporting documentation. Assist with month-end billing activities and reporting. Identify recurring billing issues and recommend process improvements. Ensure billing activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines. Perform other administrative and logistics-related duties as assigned. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, logistics, transportation, warehousing, or a related administrative role preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and large amounts of information. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Experience with warehouse management, transportation management, ERP, or billing systems is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to identify discrepancies and independently research solutions. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse/logistics environment. Reliable, professional, and committed to accuracy. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant experience is a plus.
