  • Full-time, Contract Position Summary The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily construction logistics, material coordination, delivery scheduling, inventory tracking, and operational support activities for a utility-scale solar construction project.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring efficient movement of materials, equipment, and personnel throughout active EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) operations. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with project management, subcontractors, vendors, warehouse personnel, and field operations teams to maintain organized site logistics and support overall project execution. Key Responsibilities Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries to the project site Track material receipts, inventory levels, and equipment usage Maintain delivery schedules and communicate changes to project teams Support laydown yard organization and material staging activities Assist with vendor coordination and subcontractor logistics Monitor and document material shortages or damaged shipments Maintain logistics reports, spreadsheets, and tracking systems Coordinate vehicle access and delivery routing throughout the project Assist with scheduling site equipment and support resources Communicate with field supervisors regarding material priorities and operational needs Support daily operational planning meetings as required Ensure compliance with site safety and access control procedures
Qualifications Required:
Must be willing to travel 2+ years of logistics, construction coordination, warehouse, or operations experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic reporting systems Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Preferred:
Experience with utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects Experience coordinating construction deliveries and material tracking Knowledge of inventory management systems and reporting tools Experience working with EPC construction teams preferred Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to walk active construction sites and laydown yards Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to navigate uneven terrain and active construction areas Work Environment This position operates in an active solar construction environment and may require: Extended outdoor exposure Weekend or overtime work Travel between project areas Exposure to changing weather conditions and construction activity Compensation & Benefits Compensation will be based on experience, certifications, and project requirements.
