Job Description
The Materials Planner is responsible for ensuring the availability of materials required to support manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and site operations. This position owns material planning activities, inventory optimization, shortage prevention, and planning system health to ensure operational continuity and minimize supply risk. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 3+ years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, production planning, or supply chain operations. Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or high-tech industries. Knowledge of inventory management methodologies, including Min/Max planning and safety stock management. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools. Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
