Seeking an experienced Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role responsible for managing retailer accounts and overseeing the order lifecycle from order entry and allocation through shipping and completion. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the apparel, footwear, or accessories industry , a strong understanding of shipping and logistics, and experience working with major retailers, 3PL warehouses, and ERP systems. This position requires someone who is highly organized, comfortable managing a high volume of orders, and able to take ownership of assigned accounts while working cross-functionally with sales, production, finance, warehouses, and outside sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned retailer accounts from order entry through final shipment Process order entry, allocation, shipping, and pick tickets Coordinate closely with 3PL warehouses to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment Manage retailer-specific routing, shipping, and compliance requirements Work with both EDI and non-EDI accounts and process various EDI transaction types Coordinate shipments for major retailers, off-price accounts, and specialty/boutique stores Manage both factored and non-factored customer accounts Review and analyze inventory to support order allocation and fulfillment Work closely with in-house sales teams and outside sales representatives Process credit card transactions and issue RMAs as needed Communicate directly with store owners, buyers, and customers when necessary Work cross-functionally with sales, production, finance, and warehouse teams Troubleshoot order, inventory, shipping, and fulfillment issues Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience in apparel, footwear, or accessories is required Previous ERP system experience is required Experience with order entry, allocation, shipping, pick tickets, and 3PL warehouses Basic EDI knowledge and experience processing EDI transactions Experience shipping to major retailers Understanding of retailer-specific routing and compliance requirements Experience handling both factored and non-factored accounts Experience working with high order volumes Experience working with both inside and outside sales representatives Experience processing credit card transactions and issuing RMAs Ability to analyze and understand inventory Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills Ability to shift priorities as business needs change Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned accounts
