Day in the life Based in Rochester, NY, you'll be the focal point that keeps materials flowing exactly when production needs them. Your morning may start with reviewing overnight demand signals and inventory positions, and your afternoon could be spent aligning suppliers, engineering, and production on next week's build plan. You'll turn data into decisions, spot risks before they become shortages, and guide the team toward smarter, leaner inventory. What you'll do Forecast and balance material requirements against production schedules, continuously right-sizing inventory levels. Partner with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance to synchronize materials availability with build plans. Create, refine, and own inventory strategies that reduce cost while maintaining on-time production. Leverage ERP/MRP and advanced planning tools to monitor consumption trends and generate actionable insights. Lead continuous improvement initiatives that streamline planning processes and introduce best practices. Build and deliver clear reports and dashboards on inventory health and materials KPIs for leadership. Develop strong supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery and quickly resolve supply disruptions. Coach and mentor junior analysts, elevating team capability in planning methods and tools. What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience in materials planning or supply chain analysis. Advanced analytical ability and proficiency with data analysis tools. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. Demonstrated success juggling multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Hands-on experience with ERP systems; familiarity with advanced planning software is a plus.
