Job Description

The Fleet Associate role is part customer service, part operations, and part problem-solving. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in transportation and logistics. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our drivers and freight partners, helping keep information flowing and loads moving. No two days are exactly alike. One minute you might be taking a call from a driver with a question, the next you're updating load information, coordinating with a dispatcher, or helping solve a scheduling issue. Working alongside our Fleet Manager and Dispatch Team, you'll gain exposure to local, regional, and over-the-road (OTR) operations, building a strong foundation in the trucking industry while supporting the people who keep our trucks on the road. Essential Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound calls and emails from drivers, brokers, and other partners Enter and maintain load, order, and dispatch information within our transportation management system (TMS) Support dispatchers with the day-to-day execution of driver schedules and load assignments Communicate load details, appointment times, and shipment updates to brokers and drivers Monitor load status and ensure accurate, timely updates are communicated to the appropriate teams Maintain accurate records related to driver availability, load information, and documentation Assist with routine driver questions and administrative requests while escalating more complex issues when necessary Take calls related to equipment or maintenance concerns, gather key information, and route issues to the Maintenance team Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation as scheduled Consistently look for ways to improve efficiency, communication, and customer service Must-Haves Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong customer service mindset with professional phone and email etiquette Basic computer proficiency, including email, internet, and Microsoft Office applications Dependable team player who can work independently when needed Nice-to-Haves Previous experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, customer service, or a related field Experience working with transportation management systems (TMS) or other operational software College coursework or degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field Familiarity with trucking operations, driver communication, or freight brokerage Us Committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers while supporting the drivers who make it all possible.
