This is a full-time, night shift opportunity, working a 4x10 schedule (8:00 PM - 6:30 AM), at a pay rate starting at $16/hour based on experience and skill level. This role focuses on the recovery, cleaning, inspection, documentation, and redistribution of critical medical equipment used in patient care areas throughout the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform targeted rounding in active patient care areas to recover medical equipment for processing and redistribution. Clean, evaluate, inspect, and deliver medical devices including infusion pumps, syringe pumps, feeding pumps, PCA pumps, DVT pumps, specialty beds, specialty carts, and procedural trays. Document equipment movement and work activities in an electronic database. Deliver and recover specialty carts and procedural trays throughout the facility. Maintain equipment readiness and ensure devices meet cleanliness and safety standards. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Hospital experience or logistics experience preferred. Ability to walk long distances while pushing carts of equipment and supplies. Ability to lift equipment weighing more than 35 pounds. Ability to push and pull loaded carts weighing more than 100 pounds. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively by telephone, email, and in person. Ability to follow standard precautions and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
