Responsibilities Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and move inventory safely and efficiently. Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy items and stacking pallets while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards. Use inventory management software and scanners to accurately track stock levels, process shipments, and update records in the warehouse management system (WMS). Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. Participate in shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing deliveries for dispatch. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stocking shelves, managing materials handling equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Support inventory control efforts through regular cycle counts and stock audits to uphold high accuracy standards in warehouse distribution. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, inventory management software (e.g., AS400), and warehouse management systems (WMS). Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Experience with materials handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or load/unload machinery is advantageous. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent manual handling skills to ensure safe stock movement and inventory accuracy.
