Reynoldsburg, OH Job Details Full-time | Contract $28 - $33 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications SAP Supply chain Purchase order management Bachelor's degree Production planning Logistics order management Full Job Description Associate Production Planner We are seeking an Associate Production Planner to support end-to-end order management across multiple brand channels. This role sits at the intersection of production, supply chain, planning, merchandising, vendors, and logistics . You will own day-to-day purchase order activity, monitor production and delivery timelines, resolve order issues, maintain accurate reporting, and collaborate with domestic and offshore partners to keep product moving according to schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in production, supply chain, order management, merchandise operations, sourcing, or a related retail/apparel function who is ready to take ownership of a fast-paced operational process. What You'll DoPurchase Order & Order Management Manage the end-to-end order management process across multiple brand channels. Initiate purchase orders and coordinate PO uploads, maintenance, and amendments. Monitor open orders and maintain accurate on-order reporting. Review weekly order status reporting, identify potential issues, and assess business impact. Conduct monthly audits to ensure order and system accuracy. Partner with offshore teams to ensure accurate and timely data entry within Mainframe and SAP . Follow up on Planning requests requiring adjustments to existing orders. Resolve order and article-related issues, escalating higher-risk concerns when appropriate. Support Value Added Services (VAS) requirements and related order activity. Production & Delivery Tracking Track key production milestones, including dye, cut, and delivery dates. Maintain delivery tracking and identify potential late or at-risk orders. Support order schedules for both flow and new fashion styles. Manage time-sensitive and speed orders, providing immediate issue resolution and escalation when needed. Maintain floorset reporting and communicate potential late deliveries. Ensure production and order tracking documentation remains current and accurate. Enter and maintain applicable production dates within WIPS and participate in weekly WIPS meetings. Liabilities, Cancellations & Disputes Review and interpret straightforward order and material liabilities. Ensure timely receipt of liability confirmations following order placement. Maintain liability reporting and communicate relevant information to brand partners. Support commitment contract and raw material reconciliation. Manage dispute cases and monitor expiring liabilities for potential risk. Process tactical system activities associated with order cancellations. Document cancellations and relevant updates for monthly MPC meetings. Capacity & Production Planning Ensure on-order information remains timely and accurate. Track and report commitments that do not yet have associated purchase orders. Support CGL creation and ongoing maintenance. Adhere to established order schedules and maintain tracking documents for cross-functional alignment. Identify risks that could affect production schedules, product availability, or delivery timing. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree required. 1-3 years of experience in production planning, production coordination, supply chain, order management, sourcing, merchandise operations, or a related field. Corporate internship experience preferred for candidates earlier in their careers. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel . Experience with SAP, Mainframe, PLM, ERP, or other order-management systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify issues, determine business impact, and appropriately resolve or escalate concerns. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working with cross-functional, regional, vendor, and offshore teams. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through. Ideal Background Candidates coming from apparel, fashion, retail, consumer products, production, sourcing, supply chain, merchandise planning, or product development environments may be particularly well aligned with this opportunity.
