200 days, 7.5 hours daily

Mandatory Requirements:
OSBI Background Check and a valid Driver's License are required
Essential Functions:
Responsible for overseeing and managing student discipline for all bus routes. This person plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining a positive and safe learning environment by implementing and enforcing school policies related to student behavior. They help create and establish the school's code of conduct and other policies related to student discipline. Duties to include, but not limited to: Monitoring student behavior via video equipment, investigating incidents, and addressing disciplinary issues. Communication with students, parents, and staff via phone and email Maintain accurate records of disciplinary actions, and may be responsible for reporting data to relevant school personnel Required to maintain confidentiality at all times regarding student and bus driver behaviors Other duties as assigned Experience preferred: Must have a Class B CDL with Airbrakes, Passenger, and School Bus endorsements Experience driving school buses and school routes Must be able to substitute drive bus routes as needed Proficient with technology, including: audio/visual equipment, Microsoft applications, computer knowledge, and emails
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Computer literate. Ability to follow all district policies and procedures. Ability to work independently, displaying initiative and enthusiasm for the tasks being done. Demonstrate strong communication skills, orally and in writing, with faculty, staff, team members, and administrators. Ability to work without supervision and work as a team player. Ability to document records accurately. Ability to listen effectively.
Language Skills:
Ability to speak clearly. Ability to read and interpret general written instructions in the English language. Ability to effectively communicate with supervisor, school personnel, and co-workers.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition and subtraction.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
