Position Summary The Residential Transport Specialist (RTS) plays a critical role in supporting client care, maintaining a safe and secure residential environment, and ensuring operational efficiency. This position is responsible for safely transporting clients to and from approved destinations while maintaining a supportive, trauma-informed approach. When not providing transportation, the Residential Transport Specialist supports facility safety and security by conducting routine patrols, responding to safety concerns, assisting with behavioral crises using approved de-escalation techniques, and helping maintain a safe therapeutic environment. Key Responsibilities Safely transport clients to appointments, activities, admissions, discharges, and other approved destinations. Maintain professional, trauma-informed care and interactions with clients. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain logs for safety and compliance. Documentation and logs as it relates to client transport and incident reporting. Conduct facility patrols and support safety and security initiatives. Assist staff during behavioral crises using approved de-escalation techniques. Support emergency response procedures and operational needs.

Required Certifications/Training Current First Aid and CPR certification Narcan administration training Employment Requirements At least 18 years of age Valid driver license with acceptable driving record Pass a background check Health physical screen and negative TB test Drug and Alcohol screening
