Our Flight Operations Training Department is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Training Coordinator to support the planning, scheduling, logistics, and recordkeeping behind pilot training events. About the Role As the Training Coordinator, you will play a key role in organizing training activities for flight operations staff, with a strong focus on events scheduled more than 30 days in advance. You will serve as a central point of communication for pilots, internal teams, and training partners while coordinating travel, documentation, classroom setup, eLearning assignments, and training records. This position reports to the Director of Flight Operations Training. What You'll Do In this role, you will help ensure each training event is thoughtfully planned, clearly communicated, and fully supported.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for pilots regarding training event details, updates, and logistics.
- Coordinate airline travel, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and training vehicles for training events.
- Communicate schedule changes and training details clearly and promptly to pilots and the Operator.
- Monitor and manage the Pilot Training and Pilot Records inboxes to support timely responses and updates.
- Maintain and update pilot training documentation in Mint, the training management system.
- Assign pilots to training and checking events in Mint and add students to prebuilt simulator blocks.
- Assign eLearning modules based on established learning paths, track completion progress, and send reminders as needed.
- Process, organize, and maintain training records received from external vendors.
- Set up classrooms and ensure materials, equipment, and logistics are ready for ground training sessions.
- Support onboarding for new hire pilots across training platforms to help create a smooth transition into the department.
- Assess and coordinate long-term hotel needs for the department.
- Partner with CUTS and Training Management teams to support effective event planning and execution.
- Distribute post-training surveys and help collect feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Flight Operations Training. - Minimum of 1 year of aviation experience or experience in a related coordination, operations, training, or administrative support role. Technology Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Ability and willingness to learn new software systems, including training management platforms.
