Intermodal Operations Team Member Intermodal Trucking Memphis, TN Job Details Full-time | Contract $17 - $20 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Logistics customer service Supply chain transportation management Dispatching Transportation management Desktop applications Computer skills Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description Primary Activities & Responsibilities Respond to phone calls and emails; assist carriers and customers; foster relationships with carriers; communicate with Evans and support departments; efficiently manage equipment; perform tracking and tracing; identify recurring service issues and offer resolution, respond to invoice inquiries by customers and carriers; analyze internal reports and metrics to efficiently manage the business. Competencies, Knowledge and Skills
- In-depth knowledge of intermodal transportation concepts, operations and networks
- Ability to manage carrier and customer relationships
- Ability to manage multiple activities and initiatives. Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining organizational effectiveness.
- Requires ability to use PC with general knowledge of computer applications within the trucking industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with internal/external point of contact regardless of the contacts status or position
- Demonstrate interpersonal/management skills in fast paced environment dealing with diverse work groups, carriers and customers.
- Requires effective planning and organizational skills
- Requires flexibility and ability to maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with tight deadlines and sensitive service issue
