Remote working can be considered; candidates must be available to work Eastern Time (ET) hours About the Opportunity We are supporting a world-leading advanced technology organization to expand its Logistics Operations function within a cutting-edge robotics, engineering and R&D environment . We are seeking Logistics Operations Coordinators to take ownership of the day-to-day movement of specialist equipment, components, materials and other assets required by technical teams. This is a hands-on operational logistics position where accuracy, organization and reliable execution are critical. You will manage shipments from initial request through to final delivery, ensuring appropriate documentation is in place, processes are followed and stakeholders have clear visibility throughout. You will work closely with robotics and laboratory teams, internal operations functions, suppliers and logistics partners to ensure equipment and materials reach the right location safely, compliantly and on time. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day logistics pipeline, coordinating shipments from initial request through to final delivery. Coordinate the domestic and international movement of specialist equipment, components and materials supporting robotics, engineering and R&D activities. Act as a key operational point of contact for internal robotics, engineering and laboratory teams requiring shipments. Gather accurate shipment requirements and ensure all necessary information is captured prior to dispatch. Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, freight providers and other external partners. Obtain and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, customs information and relevant regulatory paperwork. Ensure shipments are processed in line with established internal procedures and applicable customs and legal requirements. Track shipments throughout the delivery lifecycle and provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders. Maintain accurate shipment records and logistics data using spreadsheets, tracking tools and internal systems. Proactively identify potential delays, documentation gaps, compliance issues and other risks that could impact delivery. Escalate bottlenecks and operational issues to the Logistics Manager to support rapid resolution. Identify recurring issues or areas of non-compliance within the logistics pipeline. Support a fast-paced technical environment where the timely availability of equipment and materials is critical to ongoing robotics and engineering programs. Experience & Skills We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized logistics professional who is comfortable taking ownership of multiple shipments and priorities.

You should have:

Previous experience in logistics, shipping, supply chain coordination or a similar process-driven operational role. Practical knowledge of domestic and/or international shipping processes. Experience working with shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, shipping terms and customs documentation. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling shipping documentation and operational data. Experience working within established processes, policies and compliance requirements. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive approach to identifying and escalating issues. Experience with spreadsheets, data entry, shipment tracking tools or logistics systems. The ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, global environment. Desirable Experience Experience within one or more of the following environments would be particularly valuable: Robotics and automation Engineering and advanced technology Research & Development Laboratory or technical facilities Electronics and hardware Aerospace or automotive Manufacturing or industrial technology Scientific or research organizations Experience coordinating high-value, specialist, technical or sensitive equipment would also be advantageous. The Environment This is not a traditional high-volume warehouse or distribution role. You will be supporting specialist robotics, engineering and R&D teams that rely on the efficient movement of technical equipment, components and materials. The role requires someone who can combine strong logistics fundamentals with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a highly technical, fast-moving environment.

Pay:

$26.00 - $40.00 per hour
