Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the day-to-day planning and execution of shipping routes and deliveries, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, reliable service, and timely issue resolution. The position supports customer orders from pickup through delivery by coordinating transportation, maintaining shipment visibility, communicating changes or delays, and resolving complications as quickly as possible. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, responsive, and knowledgeable in logistics and supply management practices. Success in this role requires proactive communication with customers, carriers, suppliers, distribution centers, and internal teams, along with the ability to track loads, resolve transportation issues, and identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency. This is a hybrid position that requires regular in-office attendance. Only local candidates will be considered, with preference given to candidates who live within approximately 30 miles of the office and can reliably meet the established hybrid work schedule.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Enter, edit and cancel loads when needed. Approve orders in the company's portal. Process all customer requests in timely manner. Keep loads up to date through Navisphere. Load failure resolution / resourcing of loads when necessary Monitor site by site volume, order patterns, and seasonality. Proactively discuss with sites. Suggest consistently executable sourcing options. Manage site by site preferred carriers. Remove site restrictions whenever possible. Trailer pool management Enter and utilize Oracle cases where necessary. POD requests Collect and manage contact lists. Sales and Field Support interaction Manage lane rate spot bids and all associated costs with CHR Representatives. Cross training in other Regions to cover vacations and/or Sick days. Productivity enhancements Cost reduction initiatives System enhancements, testing, and implementation Site "Go Live" management Lane automation management
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1+ year of account management experience Track and Trace experience Proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook) Customer service experience with good phone skills Supply chain experience Route management experience
