Remarketing Transportation Specialist - Remote Location Services - 3.4 Oak Point, TX Job Details Part-time 1 hour ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Summary/Objective The Remarketing Transportation Specialist will be responsible for coordinating all transportation remarketing activities, along with handling the client insurance damage claim process. They will support the Remarketing Manager by handling daily administrative tasks. The Remarketing Transportation Specialist will work closely with other department members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects. Essential Functions Communicates regularly with clients Communicates with auction sites via AutoIMS and VRM escalating issues as needed Places assignments in IMS from VRM as dictated by the "Task Report" Assign vehicles to correct auction site Monitors VRM throughout the day for any newly added assignments Partners with the transportation team to complete any additional daily tasks Updates transport status in VRM Audits vehicles arriving at auction Process and complete redemptions in a timely manner Send all vehicle releases to the assigned recovery agent Coordinates invoicing and payment activities with clients and auctions Reviews invoices for errors, approves payment and submits to accounting for processing Works directly with the auction to coordinate vehicle releases, transportation and titles Monitors AutoIMS automated emails; correctly annotates all communications in AutoIMS and VRM Use Autoims, VRM, Centerpoint and RDN to manage the damage claims, redemptions, titles, and transportation processes Work directly with the client to file any claims and gather required documentation for evaluation; file claims in Centerpoint Update claim details in VRM to be viewed by the lien holder Monitor claims to place vehicles on and off hold as required Resolves any unfinished tasks as noted on daily VRM reporting Competencies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Reading comprehension Critical thinking skills Working knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Planning and organization skills Customer focused Ability to multi-task Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree in business-related field, preferred One (1) year auto-finance, auto-auction, collections, or remarketing preferred Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are variable and based on business need. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Physical Requirements This position is indoors. Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. May be asked to lift approximately 25 lbs. Exposure to moderate noise and light, i.e business office with computers, phone, printers, light foot traffic.
