AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, entrances, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and delivery-driver activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly movement throughout the location. Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Previous access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
