Job Description

We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to fill a full-time, temp to perm position for FIRST shift with our client in Summerville, SC.
Job Purpose:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the full customer booking process from initiation through completion, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and effective communication throughout the supply chain. This position supports operational efficiency by coordinating vessel schedules, monitoring inventory availability, managing booking documentation, ensuring compliance with shipping deadlines, and serving as a key liaison between customers, transportation providers, and internal departments.Responsibilities:
Manage customer bookings throughout the shipment lifecycle, including responding to customer inquiries, maintaining booking accuracy, monitoring vessel schedules, reconciling booking information, and communicating shipment updates or changes to customers and internal stakeholders. Prepare and maintain shipment documentation, including Release Summaries and Bills of Lading (BOLs), ensuring accuracy, timely completion, and compliance with documentation deadlines, and port cut requirements. Coordinate dock availability, container placement, and container movement to support operational priorities. Maintain accurate container status within logistics systems, monitor container readiness, and manage the rejection and replacement of non-conforming containers. Coordinate transportation activities by monitoring daily container flow and volume requirements, communicating with trucking dispatch and warehouse regarding shipment priorities to ensure timely shipment execution.Requirements:
High School Diploma required. 1+ years of experience in 3PL or logistics environment. Experience coordinating shipments, customer bookings, and transportation activities in a logistics, transportation or supply chain environment. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and changing operational requirements. Knowledge of shipping documentation, vessel schedules, transportation processes, and logistics systems, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Physical Requirements Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable state, federal, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable state, federal, and local standards.?? $22.00- $23.00 Hours/Shift time: Monday
