Job Description
Logistics & Port Operations Coordinator Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Logistics & Port Operations Coordinator for a company based in Ladson , SC. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the daily movement of inbound freight between the port and manufacturing facility . Pay Rate $ 23 .00 per hour Schedule and Hours 1 st shift - 7 :00am until 3 : 30pm Logistics & Port Operations Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive daily container call-offs from the production team and coordinate container releases
- Schedule transportation providers to move containers from the port to the manufacturing facility
- Organize unloading schedules and determine whether containers should be unloaded immediately or staged for future production needs
- Ensure all containers are unloaded and returned to the port within the designated turnaround period
- Manage schedules, calendars, and transportation timelines Logistics & Port Operations Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pervious experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, supply chain coordination, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
