We bring you tomorrow's opportunity, today. Volt is immediately hiring for a Logistics Admin / Logistics Coordinator in Memphis, TN 38118. As a Logistics Admin / Coordinator, you will: Manage and maintain sales orders, ensuring updates are completed as engineering and product changes occur. Monitor daily order backlogs, shipping activity, and delivery schedules. Process internal orders, no-charge orders, and other non-standard orders. Coordinate shipment releases and reschedule orders as materials become available. Provide accurate and timely order status updates to customers and internal stakeholders. Proactively communicate delays, backlog concerns, and extended lead times. Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, Planning, and Logistics teams to ensure order accuracy. Resolve delivery holds, shipping blocks, and billing issues that could impact customer orders. Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide logistics-related updates. Maintain accurate records, reports, spreadsheets, and documentation. Prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment. This is a full time opportunity.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain, customer service, order management, shipping, inventory control, or a related administrative role. Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills. Experience creating, maintaining, and updating spreadsheets and reports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional education, training, or coursework in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or supply chain environment. Experience with ERP systems, order management systems, or inventory tracking software.
Pay Rate:
$20.00 - $21.81 per hour. •Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should
