Full Job Description Front Desk Studio Coordinator:

Allen, TX (Part-Time, Transitioning to Full-Time) About the Role Avalon School of Music is an established music school with locations in Wylie and Allen, Texas, serving approximately 500 students. Our philosophy is to make learning fun for our students while creating an organized, welcoming, and professional environment for families and staff. We are hiring one Front Desk Studio Coordinator to run our Allen location three days a week (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday), working a fixed weekly schedule (see "Work Location & Schedule" below). This person will be the primary opener and closer of the Allen location and is responsible for securing the facility at the end of each shift. This position is expected to transition to a full-time role (five days a week) beginning in January, based on business needs. Candidates available to work full-time beginning in January are preferred. As the person running the Allen location on the days it is open to students, you are the primary point of contact for parents, students, and instructors. The role includes scheduling, enrollment, payment processing, and daily front-office operations. The position involves extensive use of our proprietary software system; full training will be provided. Because this is a high-volume, peak-hour operation, reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance are essential for success in this role. The coordinator will also work with confidential student, family, and payment information, always requiring professionalism and discretion. We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented team member who can work independently, take ownership of the location during their shifts, and manage multiple priorities in a customer-facing environment. To view our school calendar for the days the Allen location is open. We are open for 48 weeks out of the year and close for a few school breaks: https://www.avalonschoolmusic.com/calendar-allen
