Job Description
Job Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Technician is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing chemical materials, equipment, and supplies. This role ensures compliance with DOT regulations, maintains accurate inventory records, and supports warehouse operations through proper material mangement.Essential Duties:
Core Operations (Receiviing, Shipping & Inventory)- 60% Receives materials following established HES and shipping/receiving procedures.
- 10% Accurately enters information into SAP Creates purchase requistions and issues Goods reciept in SAP Housekeeping
- 10% Maintains housekeeping of all warehouses and freezers, loading and unloading areas. Safety, Compliance & Emergency Response
- 10% Participates on the Site Emergency Response Team Attends shift safety discussions (Tool Box and loss control meetings Continuous Improvement & Special Projects
- 10% Represents dept.
