Job Purpose The Logistics Specialist at Herc Rentals will play an important role in supporting a variety of complex projects in collaboration with branch operations, fleet planning and safety. Key activities of this position include; data compilation, data analytics of shipments, communication skills internally and externally, resolving billing issues and payments What you will do... Assist with the implementation of a company-wide freight program encompassing all 3rd party logistics providers Monitor internal and Supplier compliance to the Herc freight program and other performance measurements Provide support with scheduling and monitoring rental equipment movements Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources Escalate issues internally and externally when needed to resolve issues Support the freight bill audit and pay process; in house and outsourced May involve special projects and ad hoc assignments Maintains files, logs and other related documentation Requirements High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred Equipment industry experience desirable Skills Team player with initiative and a positive attitude Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English
