Duties/Responsibilities Managing fuel transport drivers' schedules and routes ensuring compliance with local, state and federal requirements Scheduling product to be picked up and delivered Serve as central contact point for both fuel transport drivers and customers, coordinating load and unload process Manage and monitor customer fuel inventories based on customer defined requirements Responsible for multiple trucks, customers, drivers and routes, which requires extreme attention to detail Monitor trucks and drivers once they're enroute, and help if an issue arises with a load or unload Monitor email and phones at all times Plan resources and be able to forecast at least 7 days out Documenting all calls, deliveries, routes and times for pickups and deliveries Completing paperwork related to shipments, such as invoices Manage delivery time lines Perform other related duties as assigned Schedule is 4/3 3/4 schedule, 12 hour shifts
Job Requirements:
We are searching for a Logistics Coordinator in our Pasadena, TX location. This position plays a critical role in coordinating and optimizing the scheduling and dispatching of resources to meet service demands efficiently. Skills and Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1 + year of relevant work experience Familiarity with DOT regulations for the transportation of hazardous materials Strong customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff Excellent communication skills to clearly relay information to all involved parties Analytical skills to problem-solve and coordinate difficult situations Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational and time management skills
