Duties/Responsibilities:
Managing fuel transport drivers' schedules and routes ensuring compliance with local, state and federal requirements Scheduling product to be picked up and delivered Serve as central contact point for both fuel transport drivers and customers, coordinating load and unload process Manage and monitor customer fuel inventories based on customer defined requirements Responsible for multiple trucks, customers, drivers and routes, which requires extreme attention to detail Monitor trucks and drivers once they're enroute, and help if an issue arises with a load or unload Monitor email and phones at all times Plan resources and be able to forecast at least 7 days out Documenting all calls, deliveries, routes and times for pickups and deliveries Completing paperwork related to shipments, such as invoices Manage delivery time lines Perform other related duties as assignedJob Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 1 + year of relevant work experience Familiarity with DOT regulations for the transportation of hazardous materials Strong customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff Excellent communication skills to clearly relay information to all involved parties Analytical skills to problem-solve and coordinate difficult situations Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational and time management skillsPhysical Requirements:
Work is performed while sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods of time. Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations Must be able to lift and move up to 20 pounds at a timeGeneral Description of Benefits:
