10/15/2026 Transportation Office Specialist Alpine School District in American Fork, UT is hiring for the position of Transportation Office Specialist. This position provides administrative and customer service support for the Transportation Department, including communication with drivers, schools, parents, and the public, recordkeeping, data entry, purchasing, and general office operations.
Contract Details:
Non-contract, no benefits Starting date: ASAP Hourly rate: $22.00
Hours:
10 - 20 hours per week to cover the morning shift (6:00 - 10:00 a.m.). Additional hours may be available during the 2027-28 school year to cover the afternoon shift (1:00 - 5:00 p.m.). Open until filled

Essential Functions Responds to questions from parents, schools, drivers, district staff, and the public regarding transportation services. Maintains transportation records, files, forms, and other department documentation. Enters and maintains transportation data and information in department systems. Processes purchase orders, invoices, work orders, expense claims, and other department documents. Prepares routine reports, correspondence, forms, calendars, and other department materials. Assists with driver records, personnel documentation, training records, and required compliance documentation. Monitors office supplies and department materials and assists with purchasing. Supports transportation staff with scheduling, meetings, communications, and other administrative tasks. Participates in department meetings and training as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience in an office, customer service, school, transportation, or similar setting preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy. Proficiency with standard office technology, email, spreadsheets, data systems, etc
Other Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Age 16 or older. High school diploma or equivalent.
