Position Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Demand Planner to predict and understand customer demand, ensuring our inventory is optimally managed. In this role, you will be the linchpin between sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain operations. You will develop robust forecast models, translate business intelligence into actionable purchasing requirements, and provide our supply planning team with clear monthly, quarterly, and annual views. If you excel at turning complex market data into clear supply strategies and thrive in leading cross-functional S&OP processes, we want you on our team. Key Responsibilities Create, maintain, and refine statistical forecast models to accurately predict future customer demand. Provide supply planning teams with comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual purchasing requirements. Lead and conduct regular Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to align business objectives. Host monthly syncs with the sales department to understand market variations, promotional activity, and field intelligence. Deliver highly accurate, monthly demand data at the SKU level to the supply and procurement teams. Collect and analyze data from various internal and external sources to identify factors impacting customer demand. Review historical sales trends and model data to forecast future trajectories. Collaborate cross-functionally to understand how marketing promotions, production delays, and project management initiatives impact demand. Provide strategic input to supply planning to develop highly effective inventory and safety stock strategies. Coordinate the supply chain lifecycle for New Product Introductions (NPI) and product phase-outs. Operate, utilize, and maintain the integrity of demand planning software, ERP systems, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Qualifications & Skills Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
Core Competencies:
Forecasting, Procurement, Vendor Management, and end-to-end Supply Chain Management.
Technical Literacy:
Strong proficiency in ERP systems, WMS platforms, and dedicated demand planning software.
Analytical Process:
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to model complex data sets.
Precision:
High attention to detail to ensure SKU-level accuracy in all reporting and forecasting.
