Job Description

Overview:

SUMMARY:
The Logistics Specialist shall have equivalent training and experience in logistics, industry product research, quote analysis, and expertise in documentation maintenance for data management systems. The Logistics Specialist must have experience and demonstrate a general knowledge of management applications such as the Integrated Budget Planning & Execution System (IBPES) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Experience shall include experience in industry, Federal or DoD help desk support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must have experience with Microsoft Office products and Visio. Familiarity with Department of Defense and Weapons Systems standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, and Licensure:
A minimum of one (1) year experience or equivalent training in logistics, inventory tracking, market research. • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.• Must have a DOD Secret security clearance and have or be able to obtain an

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE
DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
