Job Description
We are looking for a Receiving Clerk to support daily shipping and receiving activity near Ramsey, New Jersey. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who is organized, hands-on, and comfortable managing incoming shipments in a fast-paced environment. The person in this role will help keep materials moving efficiently, maintain accurate shipment records, and coordinate logistics activities that support day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the receipt of incoming deliveries and verify that shipments are complete, accurate, and properly documented.
- Coordinate daily movement of materials by organizing shipping and receiving activities to meet operational timelines.
- Prepare shipping paperwork, labels, and related documentation to ensure orders are processed correctly.
- Track inbound and outbound shipments and communicate updates to internal teams as needed.
- Maintain organized inventory and shipment records to support accuracy and efficient workflow.
- Work with carriers, vendors, and internal partners to resolve delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies.
- Assist with morning shipment intake and prioritize materials for timely handling and distribution.
