Job Description
Join a Growing Manufacturing Team Protect-All is a leader in flexible packaging and specialty films, serving a wide range of industries including food packaging, industrial applications, and graphic films. We're looking for a Production Planner/Buyer to support our operations by ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to keep production running smoothly. You'll work closely with production, sales, and R&D to ensure materials are available, schedules run smoothly, and customers are served on time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and collaborating across teams—and is looking to grow in a manufacturing environment. - Plan and purchase raw materials (films, resins, adhesives)
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability
- Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and delivery
- Schedule Production (extrusion, lamination, slitting)
- Create and manage purchase orders and work orders in ERP systems
- Analyze demand, forecasts, and usage trends
- Assist with new product setup and costing
- Identify cost savings and alternative sourcing opportunities.
Early Career Candidates:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Interest in manufacturing or operations
Experienced Candidates:
- 3+ years in purchasing, planning, or supply chain
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- ERP/MRP system experience (BOMs, routings, inventory planning) Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in flexible packaging, plastics, or converting
- Knowledge of roll-to-roll processes (extrusion, coating, lamination, slitting)
