Responsibilities Develop and maintain master production schedules (MPS) to align with demand forecasts and capacity constraints. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle to plan, monitor, and adjust production activities in real-time. Coordinate with supply chain teams to manage logistics, inventory levels, and procurement activities ensuring timely availability of materials. Analyze Excel spreadsheets and manufacturing data to identify trends, forecast needs, and improve demand planning accuracy. Collaborate with production managers, logistics teams, and suppliers to optimize inventory control and reduce waste through lean manufacturing principles. Monitor production management systems to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions swiftly. Support demand forecasting analysis by reviewing historical data and adjusting plans based on market trends or changes in customer orders. Skills Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and inventory management systems. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and manufacturing resource planning (MRP) software. Expertise in demand planning, forecasting techniques, and production scheduling methods. Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet management. Experience with lean manufacturing practices to streamline processes and eliminate waste. Ability to communicate effectively across departments for cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with logistics inventory management, production management systems, and inventory control strategies.
