Logistics Engineer Location:
Woodland, CA About the Role We are seeking a skilled Logistics Engineer to join a Specialty Engineering team supporting advanced system development and sustainment programs. This role focuses on logistics support analysis, maintenance planning, technical data development, and life cycle support activities to ensure system readiness, reliability, and cost-effective operations. Responsibilities
  • Perform Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) using EAGLE and develop Logistics Product Data Summaries (LPDS).
  • Support logistics engineering activities throughout the system development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to logistics design influence efforts to meet system performance, maintainability, and supportability requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret technical data, including engineering drawings, manuals, specifications, and related documentation.
  • Develop technical and logistics documentation, including Technical Orders (TOs) and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs).
  • Create, update, and maintain logistics reports such as:
  • Task Analyses
  • Maintenance Plans
  • Provisioning Requirements Reports
  • Perform and maintain Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
  • Conduct Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) modeling and assessments.
  • Develop maintenance concepts and support strategies that optimize mission readiness while balancing operational and lifecycle costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and support teams to ensure logistics requirements are integrated into system design and sustainment planning. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in logistics engineering, integrated logistics support (ILS), or lifecycle support environments.
  • Hands-on experience using EAGLE for Logistics Support Analysis (LSA).
  • Experience developing LSA products in accordance with MIL-STD-1388, GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-PRF-49506, or comparable industry standards.
  • Experience performing Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA).
  • Experience utilizing LSA data to develop technical documentation, technical publications, IETMs, training materials, or support products.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Woodland Hills, California. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, military, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of maintenance planning, provisioning, reliability, maintainability, and supportability engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with technical publication development and sustainment processes.
  • Experience working on complex engineering development programs.
