Detailed Job Description:
Onsite Supplier Support Engineer
Seeking Engineers for issue resolution between shop floor and suppliers.
Daily collaboration with internal teams and suppliers
Provide delivery commits
Provide daily follow-up with suppliers to maintain alignment on production needs and resolve discrepancies
Review of supplier commit trackers to ensure commitments align with production needs
Requests of direct truck shipments as needed to maintain delivery schedules
Work with buyer and suppliers to correct paperwork and mitigate delays in part flow thru receiving
Work with shop floor control planning teams to coordinate release of castings to the grind suppliers to avoid gaps in delivery flow Experience with MS Excel
Experience with SAP
