Job Description

Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking for an Inventory Analyst for our plant located in Gadsden, AL. Reporting to the Materials Manager, this position will work closely with our Materials, Shipping, and Operations Department personnel to ensure our inventory levels are adequately maintained and accurate at all times. Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete, lattice, and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications.
What You'll Do:
Enter, track, update, and report on various inventory items Create and issue cut tickets for plate and non-plate Follow up on allocated/not used plates, and other items as needed Assist with cycle counts and yard audits Maintain records retention for shipping paperwork and other items as necessary Conduct purchase card reconciliations Expedite accounts payable past due items Assist Buyers with closing line items and matching with accounts payable Create job folders for Plate Buyers Create job packets for the Bolt House All other duties as assigned
What You'll Need:
1 year of related experience and/or education A high degree of dependability, maturity, and responsibility as demonstrated through previous work experience or education/civic activities Previous experience working with/in manufacturing facilities is preferred, but not required Experience with reconciliations, records keeping, accounts payable, and other related tasks is preferred, but not required Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) Regular and predictable attendance, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
