Job Description

Demand Planning Analyst Spirit Jersey - 2.0 Vernon, CA Job Details Full-time $72,000 - $80,000 a year 13 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Spreadsheets Merchandising Analysis skills Decision making Organizational skills Management reporting Analytical thinking Full Job Description Spirit Jersey is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to own buy plans, channel-level demand forecasting, inventory targets, and stockout/markdown risk management for Spirit Jersey's DTC business. This role takes full ownership of the demand planning function — moving beyond analysis into accountable decision-making on buys, replenishment, and inventory health across Ecom, FBA, and Pop-Up channels. The position works closely with merchandising, design, marketing, and operations to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time to support revenue and profitability goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end buy planning across Ecom, FBA, and Pop-Up channels, translating sales targets into style-level demand forecasts. Build pre-season and in-season buy plans that support revenue, AOV, conversion, profitability, and inventory turn goals. Manage the full product lifecycle from launch through chase, replenishment, markdown, and exit. Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts by channel (Ecom, FBA, Pop-Up), incorporating historical sales, seasonality, and drop cadence. Adjust forecasts weekly and monthly based on actual performance against plan. Partner with Merchandising and Marketing to align forecasts with upcoming drops, exclusives, and cultural moments. Own inventory targets and monitor stock health across all channels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Identify markdown risk early and recommend action to protect margin. Maintain visibility into on-hand, on-order, and in-transit inventory to inform buy and replenishment decisions. Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance against plan across categories and channels. Build and maintain reporting dashboards for inventory health, forecast accuracy, and demand trends. Provide leadership with clear, timely insight into risks, opportunities, and recommended actions. Partner with Merchandising and Design on assortment and calendar alignment. Work with Operations on delivery timing, inventory flow, and production constraints. Coordinate with Marketing on launch timing and inventory readiness for campaigns and drops. Qualifications 5+ years of demand planning, inventory planning, or merchandise planning experience in apparel or accessories. Proven experience owning buy plans and forecasts — not just supporting or analyzing them. Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel/Sheets; experience with planning tools or ERP/PLM systems (e.g., A2000/Centric) is a plus. Experience forecasting across multiple channels (Ecom, marketplace/FBA, pop-up/event retail) preferred. Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate forecast risk clearly to leadership. Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills. Salary Range $USD annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
