Full-Time | Requires flexibility based on business needs About the Role Epic Personnel Partners is seeking a Ripening Forecast Analyst to join our client's food distribution team in Bloomfield, CT. The Ripening Forecast Analyst supports the Ripening Manager in ensuring the efficient operation of the ripening facility. This role plays a vital part in forecasting, planning, and maintaining optimal product quality to meet customer standards. Key Responsibilities Utilize forecasting models based on customer data, historical trends, and business capacity. Supervise the continuous ripening cycle to meet demand while ensuring product quality and shelf-life. Conduct inbound inspections to ensure product meets criteria before ripening. Communicate with the Ripening Manager, customers, and distribution centers on demand and supply changes. Oversee sanitation and preventive maintenance for ripening rooms and equipment. Track and maintain records of customer feedback, implementing corrective actions when necessary. Requirements Hands-on banana ripening experience and knowledge of maturation stages. Understanding of banana supply chain processes. Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel ; WMS (GOLD) experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in variable temperature environments. Must be flexible with schedule and adapt to changing operational needs. Why Join Us?
