Job Summary:
Oversee inventory control for a high volume laboratory. Receive, store, maintain, and distribute material and equipment in accordance with departmental policies to meet customer needs. Orders, receives and ships properly utilizing department tools including but not limited to PeopleSoft, FileMakerPro and WB Mason ordering program. Responsibilities may also include proper specimen handing, specimen data entry, specimen plating, rapid testing, result reporting, pending log review and problem solving. This position requires strong technical, organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Must be able to work independently, organize multiple tasks and be able to prioritize tasks accordingly. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have word processing skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to read, speak and write the English language.
