Job Overview
As a Supply Chain Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting procurement, sourcing, materials management, logistics, planning, supplier management, and other supply chain activities. Depending on your team and assignment, you may work across different areas of the supply chain organization and collaborate with business partners across the company.
Throughout the internship, you'll have opportunities to strengthen your analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills while learning how effective supply chain management supports reliable and efficient business operations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities Assists Supply Chain teams with assigned projects, analyses, and business initiatives
Analyzes supplier, purchasing, inventory, cost, and operational data to identify trends and opportunities
Supports procurement, sourcing, materials management, logistics, planning, or supplier activities
Assists with supplier performance analysis, reporting, and business reviews
Helps evaluate costs, processes, and opportunities for improvement
Supports development of reports, dashboards, analyses, and other decision-support tools
Collaborates with Supply Chain professionals and business partners across the organization
Contributes to process improvement initiatives designed to improve cost, efficiency, service, quality, or reliability
Helps identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, tools, or reporting
Develops analytical, business, communication, and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience
Presents project work, findings, and recommendations to team members and leadership
Takes ownership of assigned work, asks thoughtful questions, and actively seeks opportunities to learn and contribute
Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications Maintain active enrollment in a bachelor's degree or higher degree program
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Ability to complete a minimum 10-week internship, beginning no later than June 1
Preferred Qualifications Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Economics, Analytics, or a related field
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Interest in procurement, sourcing, logistics, operations, or business processes
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail with the ability to understand the bigger picture
Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn
