SUMMARY:
Hydraulic Supply Company (HSC), a division of Motion Industries, is seeking a Build Shop Technician in West Palm Beach, Florida to work in our Build Shop facility assembling hydraulic and electric assemblies for our customers. This is an opportunity for a motivated and talented candidate to grow with a great team and a very successful company.JOB DUTIES
- Build hydraulic and electrical customer assemblies
- Operate Hydraulic Test Stand for functional tests as required
- Receive and put away inventory
- Prepare orders for shipment (packing, palletizing, etc.)
- Interact with computer system to generate inventory pick lists, process orders, shipping, and manage upcoming orders
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalentKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Attention to detail
- Fluid power experience a plus
- Work consists of standing at a workbench most of the day
- Familiarity with common office software applications (Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills as required
