Quoting & BOM Analyst

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quoting & BOM (Bill of Materials) Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates, managing comprehensive BOM data, and supporting production planning processes. Your expertise will help streamline our supply chain operations, optimize inventory management, and ensure precise demand forecasting. Responsibilities Create, maintain, update, and audit Quotes and BOMs for new and existing products. Review engineering drawings, specifications, standards and change notices to ensure BOM & quote accuracy. Process Engineering Change Orders, Engineering Change Requests and product revisions as needed. Cost & pricing analysis & Validate material structures, part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and configurations. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve BOM discrepancies. Ensure product master data complies with company standards and procedures. Analyze Quotes and BOM-related issues that may impact sales, production, inventory, and cost. Maintain accurate item master records in ERP, MRP, and/or PLM systems. Support product launches, product transfers, and end-of-life activities. Generate reports and perform data analysis to identify trends, errors, and improvement opportunities. Conduct periodic BOM & quote audits and data integrity reviews. Work with quote software consultants for optimal use of program & maintain information in module.
Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent combination of experience and education in a related field.
Experience:
2-5 years of BOM and product management, and experience in manufacturing.
Functional Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; organization skills and attention to detail;
Technology Aptitude/Skills:
CAD Experience helpful and proficient in
Microsoft Excel Language Skills:
Fluent in English required; ability to speak Spanish a plus

Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
