One virtual interview with the Hiring Manager followed by an onsite panel interview About the Role We are seeking a Part-Time Material Supply Chain Analyst to support material planning and supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely flow of raw materials, components, and subassemblies needed to support production. The ideal candidate has experience in purchasing, inventory management, production planning, or supply chain operations and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve material-related challenges. This position offers a flexible schedule totaling approximately 20 hours per week, with a preference for two full onsite days and one additional half day. Responsibilities Ensure continuous availability of raw materials, components, and subassemblies to support manufacturing operations. Manage and monitor open purchase orders and supplier delivery schedules. Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, confirmations, shortages, and delivery issues. Review and respond to Material Requirements Planning (MRP) messages on a daily basis. Escalate recurring supply chain or material availability issues as needed. Track supplier performance and support continuous improvement efforts using established KPIs. Partner with purchasing, production, planning, and operations teams to resolve material challenges. Maintain accurate planning and inventory-related information within company systems. Support initiatives that improve supply chain efficiency and material availability. Minimum Qualifications 1+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory management, production planning, materials management, or a related field. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and effectively manage time. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience using SAP or another ERP system. Knowledge of material planning, procurement, inventory control, and supplier management processes. Negotiation and supplier relationship management experience.
