Job Title:
Inventory Analyst Job Description As part of the shipping team, the Inventory Analyst will perform critical duties to improve a broad range of inventory metrics that contribute to the overall company performance and success. Responsibilities Operate trucks and control movement of lifting apparatus. Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials. Transport loads to designated areas. Inventory materials on the work floor. Perform pre-operational checks of equipment, recharge batteries, and replace liquefied gas tanks. Maintain and improve inventory practices by analyzing inventory, production, and customer order data. Coordinate between production, customer accounts, and purchasing to prevent excess and obsolete inventory. Review and correct bills-of-material to improve inventory systems. Work closely with and assist operations staff to ensure proper recording of intercompany inventory activities. Collaborate with operators on the floor to correct and consolidate raw material components and finished goods. Essential Skills Proficiency in inventory control and cycle counting. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack. Strong computer skills for inventory management. Work Environment The role is based in a warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. It involves standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift, with occasional overtime and weekend work required based on production needs. The position operates on the first shift from 7am-4pm, Monday to Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
