6+ month contract The Supply Chain Analytics Lead supports a GMP manufacturing organization by developing and managing supply chain analytics, operational performance metrics, and cost optimization initiatives. This role provides analytical support across Site Planning, Materials Operations, and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) operations to improve visibility, drive data-based decision making, and identify opportunities to improve service, inventory performance, and operational efficiency. The position partners closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to develop KPIs, perform spend analysis, monitor operational performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role serves as a key resource for translating operational data into actionable insights that support both tactical execution and long-term strategic planning. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting Develop, maintain, and standardize supply chain performance metrics and dashboards across Site Planning, Materials Operations, and 3PL operations. Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities impacting operational performance. Develop routine reporting and management review materials to support site and supply chain governance processes. Provide analytical support for inventory management, material flow, capacity planning, and supply chain execution activities. Partner with stakeholders to establish data-driven performance targets and monitor progress against key operational objectives. KPI Development & Performance Management Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory, service, planning, logistics, scheduling, and operational execution. Maintain scorecards and performance dashboards to provide visibility into business performance and operational health. Analyze KPI performance trends and recommend corrective actions to address performance gaps. Support development of site-level performance reviews and business performance reporting. Identify leading indicators that enable proactive risk identification and issue escalation. 3PL & Logistics Analytics Develop performance reporting and analytics related to third-party logistics providers and warehousing operations. Monitor logistics, storage, transportation, and inventory-related performance metrics. Conduct analyses to identify opportunities to improve service levels, reduce waste, and optimize logistics processes. Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to improve operational visibility and reporting effectiveness. Support oversight of 3PL-related performance, inventory accuracy, and cost drivers. Data Governance & Business Process Improvement Partner with functional stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting consistency, and analytical capabilities. Support implementation and enhancement of reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics solutions. Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and eliminate manual data management activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing data and operational insights to improve business processes. Support special projects aligned with site and organizational priorities. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience in supply chain analytics, planning, logistics, materials management, manufacturing operations, or business analytics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting. Experience performing spend analysis, financial modeling, and cost optimization initiatives. Understanding of supply chain operations, inventory management, logistics, and planning processes. Experience working in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment preferred. Experience with ERP systems, reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to present analytical findings and recommendations to leadership audiences. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Typically requires 4-6+ years of relevant experience, depending on scope and level. Experience in supply chain analytics, operations analytics, planning, logistics, finance, or business intelligence preferred. Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics operations in a regulated environment is a plus. Experience developing executive-level reporting and performance management processes is preferred.
