NSI requires a Senior Readiness Cell Analyst to provide support to the
NAVAIR PMA-265 F/A-18 & EA-18G
Program Office. The Senior Readiness Cell Analyst will have comprehensive knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) (COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2D) and experience working with maintenance data systems and processes to optimize readiness and sustainment. Familiarity with NAVAIR and NAE systems of record such as NALCOMIS, DECKPLATE, and the Maintenance Data System (MDS) is essential to analyze maintenance trends, forecast performance, and drive actionable insights to improve operational effectiveness. Demonstrate proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as SQL, Python, Power BI, and Tableau, to process large datasets and extract insights that support maintenance planning and execution. Strong technical skills in data visualization and trend analysis are critical for enabling data-driven decision-making in Naval Aviation maintenance sustainment. Ability to operate in a highly self-directed environment, requiring candidates to independently prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision. Success in this position also hinges on the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across a diverse range of Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) stakeholders, including NAVAIR PMAs, Fleet Readiness Centers (FRCs), and squadron maintenance teams. Must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to convey complex ideas, provide updates, and coordinate efforts to accomplish assigned tasking and meet mission-critical objectives.
Desired Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Naval Aviation maintenance, gained through military, government civilian, or contractor roles.
- In-depth knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) and associated maintenance systems.
- Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau to prepare, analyze and interpret aviation maintenance data.
- Expertise in identifying and analyzing maintenance trends and developing actionable insights for improving readiness.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a self-directed environment, independently prioritizing and executing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate and coordinate across diverse Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) stakeholders, ensuring mission success.
Location:
Lexington Park, MD Education:
MS or MA Degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management.
Allowable Substitution:
Bachelor's Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
Experience:
At least ten (10) years' FTE experience in acquisition or operational logistics support and maintenance engineering. Four (4) years directing acquisition or logistics managers in the performance of comprehensive analysis across the spectrum of IPS elements during a job assignment in or in support of an acquisition command. Four (4) years of DOD logistics support experience to include specific experience in acquisition planning and management including logistics planning, scheduling, execution and support system effectiveness analysis, studies and evaluations in support of DOD weapons systems and equipment. Two (2)years of specific experience in operational logistics planning and management.
Security Clearance:
Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
