What You'll Do As our Materials Analyst, you'll play a key role in strengthening supply chain performance and supporting cross-functional projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying and resolving ERP issues tied to BOMs, scheduling, logistics, and reporting. Leading process improvement initiatives across scheduling, customer service, logistics, and inventory. Documenting and promoting best practices, such as safety stock optimization. Supporting vendor EDI implementation and other cross-functional initiatives. Assisting with customer-driven projects such as program launches, balance-outs, and engineering changes. Serving as a central point of communication between MP&L, engineering, operations, IT, finance, purchasing, customers, and suppliers. Training team members and driving cost reduction and efficiency initiatives. What We're Looking For Bachelor's or associate's degree in a business-related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience considered. At least 5 years' experience in scheduling, logistics, purchasing, or supply chain management within a Tier 1/Tier 2 automotive supplier environment. Proficiency in ERP systems (IQMS preferred) and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills. Work Environment & Schedule This role is primarily in-office at our Taylor, MI location, with occasional opportunities for remote work. The standard schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm , with nights and weekends as needed.
