Job Description
Analyst Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation United States, Mississippi, Olive Branch Jul 21, 2026 Inventory Planning Analyst The Inventory Planning Analyst plays a key role in achieving supply chain and inventory objectives within the OBDC Network, supporting Milwaukee Tool initiatives and meeting customer expectations. This position focuses on optimizing order fulfillment, strategic inventory placement, and distribution planning, with an emphasis on inter-network inventory management and related processes. The analyst will oversee all activities impacting order fulfillment to ensure operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and leverage analytical metrics to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive strategic outcomes.
- Partner with Distribution Center teams (Operations, Waving, Migrations, Slotting, Inventory) and other facilities to align Supply Planning, Demand Planning, and Inventory Management efforts.
- Utilize technology to create data-driven metrics and enhance process efficiency.
- Analyze and interpret data to deliver actionable insights that support team goals.
- Maintain data accuracy and address immediate planning risks.
- Research and implement tools to boost key performance indicators (KPIs) and streamline processes for internal and external customers.
- Evaluate SKU performance using product data, providing recommendations for Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ), Fixed Days of Supply, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) alignment in inter-network transactions.
- Identify constraints using SWOT and Fishbone analyses, developing solutions and mitigation strategies.
- Proactively highlight risks of non-compliance affecting customers and Milwaukee Tool.
- Collaborate with Product Design teams to establish Distribution Center sourcing, item specifications, and data integrity for new product setups.
Requirements and Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred (not required).
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, inventory management, or related fields.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage all organizational levels.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
