D&G is seeking an Aviation Logistics Analyst to support the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) Technical Support Services (TSS) contract in Elizabeth City, NC. This position provides comprehensive logistics and engineering support for the HC-130J Long Range Surveillance aircraft, ensuring aircraft systems, technical documentation, maintenance procedures, and supply support remain mission ready. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with HC-130J airframe and powerplant systems, technical publications, logistics support, and depot-level maintenance activities while working collaboratively with engineering, supply, and production teams. What You Will Do
  • Monitor
OEM, U.S.
Coast Guard, and other military service technical directives to determine applicability to HC-130J logistics support, maintenance, engineering, and sustainment activities.
  • Conduct market research to evaluate technical data packages, pricing, availability, vendor capabilities, source approvals, and product quality.
  • Lead Spare Parts Breakout (SPBO) projects, including full and limited screen breakouts, while identifying opportunities for cost avoidance.
  • Coordinate with Product Line Managers, Engineering Cells, and Supply Cells to support logistics planning and sustainment activities.
  • Develop Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPCs), engineering specifications, schematics, and technical documentation supporting depot-level repairs and maintenance processes.
  • Generate Supply Inventory Change Records (SICRs) and submit supporting documentation for Government review and approval.
  • Review technical publications, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance documentation for technical accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct reverse engineering efforts supporting sustainment and depot maintenance initiatives.
  • Develop, review, and update logistics policies, procedures, and process documentation.
  • Generate Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), support validation and verification activities, and track required parts for TCTO kit development.
  • Generate and execute Engineering Service Requests supporting aircraft modifications and sustainment efforts.
  • Participate in technical, production, and program management meetings.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support to Coast Guard Air Stations as required. What We Are Looking For Required
  • 10 years of experience troubleshooting HC-130J aircraft using airframe and powerplant maintenance manuals.
  • Demonstrated experience incorporating technical information into HC-130J technical publications.
  • Experience developing aircraft technical specifications and supporting Aeronautical Ground Support Equipment (AGSE).
  • Experience tracking TCTO parts requirements and supporting implementation of field and depot modification kits.
  • Experience supporting complex engineering projects requiring technical research and coordination with engineering teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturer blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Experience evaluating OEM and military technical directives for applicability to Coast Guard aircraft and support systems.
  • Experience developing Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPCs), engineering specifications, schematics, and technical figures.
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience developing HC-130J prototypes and implementing airframe and powerplant modifications, including technical data development.
  • 6 years of experience supporting T-56 engine maintenance and overhaul activities with demonstrated technical expertise. Clearance and Eligibility
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.
